The third annual gala has a Tuscan flare, bringing wine pairing and culinary experience together for one unforgettable evening. An Evening in Tuscany benefits Regional Hospice and Home Care Center for Comfort Care & Healing and will be held Friday, May 29, 2015, from 7 to 11:30 pm at The Waterview, 215 Roosevelt Drive, Monroe, Conn.
The Tuscan-themed gala is the largest fundraiser for Regional Hospice and Home Care Center for Comfort Care & Healing and supports the first and only private-room, family focused hospice center in the State of Connecticut that is now opened in Danbury. All proceeds from the evening will benefit the hospice center.
“We are thrilled to be hosting another fantastic event this year, which brings awareness and funds for our nonprofit hospice care and our new Center for Comfort Care & Healing,” said Cynthia E. Roy, president and CEO of Regional Hospice. “The dedicated and supportive volunteer gala committee has retuned again to host a creative and festive evening.”
The evening will begin with an open bar cocktail reception where guests will have a chance to mingle, browse the amazing raffle, or step outside onto the terrace to enjoy the gardens and lake views. The cocktail reception will be followed by dinner in the ballroom and dancing with entertainment. The dinner will be uniquely prepared to reflect Tuscan cuisine by the executive chef of The Waterview, Nino Martino and will feature the Regional Hospice and Home Care Center for Comfort Care and Healing chef, Aaron Swart, making this evening unforgettable culinary experience.
Individual ticket price for the gala is $150 and includes cocktails, dinner and drinks, dancing and the chance to win amazing prizes at the raffle. While sponsorship opportunities include a $20,000 Diamond Presenting Sponsor, $7,500 Silver Photographer Sponsor, $5,000 Bronze Dessert Sponsor, $2,500 Copper Sponsor, $1,000 Green Sponsor and $500 Patron Sponsors, there are many other levels from which to choose. Also, donation of raffle items are always welcome.
