Healing Hearts to Offer Support Group for When a Grandparent Dies

For many children, grandparents are an integral part of the family.  A child may struggle with their death as well as see the emotions their parents are feeling.  The Healing Hearts Center for Grieving Children & Families is currently enrolling participants for a grandchildren’s support group which will run for four weeks beginning Monday, February 27, 2012.

 The grandchildren’s support group is for children ages 6 – 12 and an accompanying parent.  Pre-registration and an intake meeting are required.  Thanks to the generous community support the center receives, there is no charge for this program.  Please call Healing Hearts at 203-792-4422 with questions or to schedule an appointment.
