From 1983, Regional Hospice and Palliative Care has been providing comfort, care and compassion to life-limited patients and their families. In our Danbury location, we provide exceptional in-patient hospice care and superior palliative care and pediatric care.

Inpatient Hospice

Patients can receive inpatient hospice care at our newly opened, state of the art Inpatient Hospice Care Center in Danbury, which is equipped with private suites, family accommodations, and gourmet meals prepared specially for loved ones and their families.

Palliative Care

We provide a  multidisciplinary approach to palliative care to life-limited patients with advanced illnesses. Relief from pain symptoms and treatment for mental and physical stress is provided by this approach.


Pediatric Care

We also provide exceptional prenatal and pediatric hospice care for babies and children. Our goal is to assist families and loved ones with their day to day challenges while providing patients a better quality of life.

Who We Are and Why We Serve Armonk

Since 1983, Regional Hospice and Palliative Care, has given excellent end-of-life care to Armonk patients and while supporting their family members. Our specialized care and treatment help many hospice patients enjoy a better quality of life. Patients confined to a nursing home or assisted living facility will receive the same care.

We also take pride in our newly constructed private suite Hospice Center located in Danbury, CT. This Center for Comfort Care and Healing is state of the art and offers comfort, kindness, and remarkable care to loved ones and their families.  Hospice patients can receive the care and comfort needed away from their home at the Center for Comfort Care and Healing in Danbury offers, which is fully equipped with private suites and many other family accommodations.

Regional Hospice and Palliative Care provides care and treatment to patients 24 hours of every day, 7 days a week no matter where you are being treated. Our team of physicians, registered nurses, social workers, chaplains, hospice care aides, and trained hospice volunteers at Regional Hospice and Palliative Care are committed to following personalized treatment plans that are designed to meet the individual needs of our patients. Treatment plans include pain management, symptom control, speech therapy, physical therapy, and occupational therapy.

Compassion, Peace and Dignity
It is our main intention to provide compassion, peace, and dignity to all hospice patients with superior care and treatment to allow for a better quality of life in their final days and weeks.

Comfort Versus Curative
Patients with a terminal prognosis of 6 months or less or a child diagnosed with a life-limiting illness need compassionate, specialized hospice care and treatment. Regional Hospice and Palliative Care gives comforting care with all the specialized care patients require.

A Doctor’s Referral is Not Necessary
You don’t need a referral to access Regional Hospice and Palliative Care. We accept all patients who reach out for our hospice and are cared for by one of our physicians.  If an individual chooses to submit an online referral, this can be achieved through our website.

Hospice is Affordable
Medicare, Medicaid, and most health insurance plans cover the cost of hospice care and treatment. Many families find comfort in this when trying to provide their loved ones with all the compassion, care, and comfort they need in their final days.

Inpatient Hospice Care

If in-home care is not suited for some loved ones, we proudly offer inpatient hospice care at our newly opened Center for Comfort Care and Healing in Danbury where we provide patients with superior care away from home and aim to meet all their unique needs.

Chef Jonathan LeFebvre and his passionate culinary team offer gourmet meals for hospice patients and their families. He has been accepted by all our patients as a beloved family member because of his complete dedication to both end-of-life patients and their families.

Perinatal & Pediatric Care

Our Pediatric & Perinatal Hospice Programs focus on Armonk families with babies or children diagnosed with life-limited illnesses. Care plans offer physical, emotional, and spiritual support to all. Our committed team assists loved ones and family members through all steps from pregnancy, labor, and birth, to life along with loss and remembrance.

The specialized Pediatric & Perinatal Hospice treatment plan has routine healthcare visits and perinatal support and gives families instructions on proper care for terminally ill babies or children in their Armonk home. We can also offer assistance with many other community resources.

We Assist With:
