The non-profit hospice care provider welcomes Carly Esteves MS, AGACNP-BC, ACCNS-AG, CCRN, RNFA to the organization’s clinical inpatient team. Previously, Esteves was at Nuvance Health, Vassar Brothers Medical Center where she specialized in management of the Trauma/ACS/SICU Advanced Practice Team.
Regional Hospice has appointed Carly Esteves MS, AGACNP-BC, ACCNS-AG, CCRN, RNFA as Clinical Director of the Center for Comfort Care & Healing. Esteves will lead all aspects of in-patient care and client satisfaction within the organization’s residential Center. Esteves reports to Toni Ann Marchione, Chief Health Operating Officer.
Esteves brings with her an impressive and multi-faceted background, most recently serving as Manager of the Trauma, Acute Care Surgery & Surgical Critical Care Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) at Vassar Brother Medical Center in Poughkeepsie, NY. She has also worked at The University of Maryland Medical Center and its R. Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center and Walter Reed Army Medical Center in various specialty areas including Acute Care, Floating Trauma and Neurosurgery Critical Care, Medical ICU, Vascular Access and Orthopedic Trauma.
Esteves began her nursing career in the U.S. Army, serving in various positions of increasing responsibility including Second Lieutenant, First Lieutenant and Captain – Staff Nurse.

Esteves earned her BS in Nursing from Stony Brook University in Stony Brook, New York and her Masters in Adult & Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner and Clinical Nurse Specialist from the University of Maryland in Baltimore.
