Compassion, Peace and Dignity
The primary goal of our staff is to provide compassion, peace, and dignity to all our hospice patients as well as superior care and treatment to allow for a better quality of life in their final days and weeks.
Comfort Versus Curative
Patients who receive a terminal prognosis of 6 months or less or a child diagnosed with a life-limiting illness, require compassionate, specialized hospice care and treatment. Regional Hospice and Palliative Care provides that very care and comfort along with all the specialized care patients need.
A Doctor’s Referral is Not Necessary
No referrals are required to obtain Regional Hospice and Palliative Care. All patients who reach out for our hospice are accepted and placed under the care of one of our physicians. Online referrals can be submitted on our website if individuals choose to do so.
Hospice is Affordable
Medicare and Medicaid cover the cost of hospice care and treatment as do most private health insurance plans. This is comforting to families when they are attempting to provide their loved ones with all the compassion, care, and comfort they need in their final days.
For those families who feel that in-home care is not suited to their loved ones, we proudly offer inpatient hospice care to patients at our newly opened Center for Comfort Care and Healing in Danbury. At the Center, we provide patients with the highest quality care away from home and strive to meet all their individual needs while they are being treated at our inpatient hospice center.
