Every patient has a story...

Family Support Volunteers

Family Support Volunteers offer support and companionship for patients and their families in their home, assisted living residence or skilled nursing facility across Fairfield, New Haven, Litchfield and Hartford Counties.  Volunteers also provide support to the patients at the Center for Comfort Care and Healing in Danbury.  They provide companionship for patients and much-needed respite for caregivers. These special volunteers are an integral part of our multi-disciplinary team, providing support to bringing joy to patients and easing the burdens of family members.  They do not provide hands on care.
