Why Choose the Regional Hospice Center

Regional Hospice provides convenient hospice services for each of our Woodbury patients. We can come to you in your home, nursing home, or assisted living facility, or invite you to our Danbury inpatient center, the Center for Comfort Care and Healing. We are here to assist patients 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Physicians, registered nurses, social workers, chaplains, hospice care aides and trained hospice volunteers work as a team to provide patients with exceptional care. They each follow customized care plans that were determined based off of each patients needs and symptoms. For patients who need further assistance we offer speech, physical and occupational therapy.

Compassion, Peace and Dignity
We provide sincere support and medical care for your loved one while they receive their end-of-life care with us. We work hard to manage pain and symptoms that accompany their advanced illness and set realistic goals to improve their quality of life. All of our patients are treated with kindness, compassion, and dignity.

Comfort Versus Curative

Woodbury families should discuss hospice care when a loved one is given a terminal prognosis of 6 months or less, or when a child is diagnosed with an advanced illness.

A Doctor’s Referral is Not Necessary
Patients can be referred to us by a hospital, friend, family member, clergy member, or any home care agency. They will be admitted to us under a doctors direction, though anyone can request our services. We have an online referral form here on our website for your convenience.

Hospice is Affordable

Hospice care is covered by Medicare, Medicaid and nearly all other private health insurances, allowing your loved one to receive the care that they need.
