Nonprofit Agency with a Nonprofit Philosophy
We are proud to be the first – and to remain the largest – Nonprofit hospice in Western Connecticut. Every donor dollar raised goes back into providing patients with the highest quality end-of-life care.
Compassion, Peace and Dignity
Symptom and pain management that allow end-of-life patients to achieve new goals and improve the quality of life.
Comfort Versus Curative
Consider hospice when there is a terminal prognosis of 6 months or less, (a disease that has run its normal course) or if a child is suffering from a life-limiting illness.
A Doctor’s Referral is Not Necessary
Anyone may request hospice care. A patient may be referred by a hospital, clergy, family, friend or other home care agency and will be admitted under a physician’s direction. An online hospice referral can be conveniently completed through our site.
Hospice is Affordable
Hospice care is covered by Medicare, Medicaid and most private health insurances.
Since 1983, Regional Hospice and Palliative Care has been providing caring, end-of-life services to our Connecticut community. We have successfully helped thousands of patients live out their remaining days in the comfort of their own home or nursing care facility with peace and dignity, while supporting their families emotionally and spiritually.
Additionally, after years of careful consideration and planning, we have built Connecticut’s first and only, state-of-the-art, private suite hospice center – our Center for Comfort Care and Healing in CT.
We are not only proud of our decades-long reputation for superior in-home hospice care we are now honored to be able to welcome you into our home as well.
