A distinguished nonprofit hospice provider since 1983, Regional Hospice walks alongside Bethany patients and their loved ones enabling those in our care to focus on what matters: living fully when facing life-limiting illness. Patients of all ages―from babies to adults―in private homes, assisted living and skilled nursing facilities in four Connecticut counties benefit from our services. Our Danbury Center for Comfort Care & Healing is the first residential hospice center of its kind in Connecticut, offering all the comforts and amenities of home to patients throughout Bethany.
Our home hospice care services provide your loved ones with care from the comfort of their own home to make them feel as comfortable as possible.
At our beautiful in-patient facility in Danbury, Bethany patients can enjoy a spa, gourmet cooking, and rooms with a balcony.
With complete respect and compassion we support families with babies and children who have been diagnosed with a terminal illness. Our prenatal and pediatric hospice care is available for families across the state.
Since 1983, Regional Hospice has provided care choices for terminal patients and their families during the sacred end-of-life transition. Our Center for Comfort Care & Healing is the first hospice residence of its kind in Connecticut and is available to anyone in the U.S. Bethany residents benefit from 24/7 clinical care in private suites with screened in balconies, wood furnishings and chef-prepared custom meals. The Center replicates the comforts of home, where loved ones can focus on quality time together.
We are devoted to treating our Pawling patients and their families with care and comfort. Our team will give individualized care and support to help live out remaining days happy and pain free.
The Regional Hospice center is where patients decide they no longer want to go through curative treatments that are difficult and painful, or that require them to go into a hospital.Patients may also want to stay home and spend time with those they love while staying in a familiar space.
Compassion, Peace and Dignity
We have become a reputable facility for hospice care over the years, not only by providing excellent medical care, but by treating our patients and their families with respect, peace, and compassion. We connect with each patient and fully understand their goals while providing symptom and pain management to improve their daily lives.
Comfort Versus Curative
Hospice and palliative care are a holistic approach to managing pain and symptoms of a serious illness. In addition, they provide emotional and spiritual comfort for the patient and their family.
A Doctor’s Referral is Not Necessary
Though anyone can request our hospice services, patients are admitted under a doctor’s orders, and are often referred by a hospital, clergy, family, friend or other home care agency. We offer an online hospice referral form on our website.
Hospice is Affordable
Regional Hospice and Palliative care aims to give high quality care at an affordable cost. Care is covered by Medicare, Medicaid and most private health insurances at your convenience.
For some, hospice care is most convenient in the comfort of one’s Bethany home, but that isn’t the case for everyone. We understand the level of comfort staying at home brings, but receiving quality end-of-life care is sometimes necessary. We are happy to offer our patients the option of receiving their hospice care at our Inpatient Hospice Center in Danbury when in-home care is no longer realistic.
