Since 1983, Regional Hospice has been providing caring, end-of-life services to our Connecticut community. We have successfully helped thousands of patients live out their remaining days in the comfort of their own home or nursing care facility with peace and dignity, while supporting their families emotionally and spiritually.
Additionally, after years of careful consideration and planning, we have built Connecticut’s first and only, state-of-the-art, private suite hospice center – our Center for Comfort Care and Healing in CT.
We are not only proud of our decades-long reputation for superior in-home hospice care we are now honored to be able to welcome you into our home as well.
Whether inside your Danbury home or facility, or at our home, the Center for Comfort Care and Healing, Regional Hospice provides exceptional, convenient, hospice care services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Physicians, registered nurses, social workers, chaplains, hospice care aides and trained hospice volunteers follow customized, individual care plans designed to meet each patient’s needs for pain management and symptom control and special services such as speech, physical and occupational therapy.
Compassion, Peace and Dignity
We support you and your loved ones during your difficult time treating you and them with the compassion, peace and dignity they deserve. We work with symptom and pain management that allow end-of-life patients to achieve new goals and improve the quality of life.
Comfort Versus Curative
Consider hospice when there is a terminal prognosis of 6 months or less, (a disease that has run its normal course) or if a child is suffering from a life-limiting illness. We strive to give the highest quality of life to you and your loved one during final portion of their time.
A Doctor’s Referral is Not Necessary
Anyone may request hospice care. A patient may be referred by a hospital, clergy, family, friend or other home care agency and will be admitted under a physician’s direction. An online hospice referral can be conveniently completed through our site.
Hospice is Affordable
Hospice care is covered by Medicare, Medicaid and most private health insurances, allowing you to care for your loved one, providing them high-quality care.
