Comfort Versus Curative
Hospice care is a holistic approach focused on relieving symptoms and stress on the patient while controlling the disease. Hospice is available to those whose terminal illness has a prognosis of 6 months or less and children with a life-limiting illness.of 6 months or less and children who have been diagnosed with a life-limiting illness.
A Doctor’s Referral is Not Necessary
Online hospice referrals may be completed by anyone including family, friends, and clergy through our website. Hospitals, physicians, and home care agencies can, of course, refer patients in the Darien, CT area as well.
