Since 1983, Regional Hospice has provided care choices for terminal patients and their families during the sacred end-of-life transition. Our Center for Comfort Care & Healing is the first hospice residence of its kind in Connecticut and is available to anyone in the U.S. East Fishkill residents benefit from 24/7 clinical care in private suites with screened in balconies, wood furnishings and chef-prepared custom meals. The Center replicates the comforts of home, where loved ones can focus on quality time together.
We offer care and treatment 24 hours per day, 7 days per week at Regional Hospice, regardless of where treatment is rendered.
We have a team of dedicated physicians, registered nurses, social workers, chaplains, hospice care aides, and trained hospice volunteers to give your loved one customized treatment options that meet their individual needs. This may include pain management, symptom control, speech therapy, and physical and occupational therapies.
Compassion, Peace and Dignity
We are here to prove your loved ones the highest level of compassion so that may have the peace and dignity they deserve. We focus on helping end of life patients improve their overall quality of life in their final days in all of our treatment plans.
Comfort Versus Curative
Regional Hospice can distinguish terminal prognosis of 6 months or less or a child diagnosed with a life-limiting illness. These circumstances deserve specialized hospice care that affords them a quality end of life.
A Doctor’s Referral is Not Necessary
While a referral can be made on our website, it is not required to receive care at our facility. Anyone who makes a request for our hospice care will be admitted under the care of one of our physicians.
Hospice is Affordable
Focus on your loved ones and not on the cost of hospice care. Most private health insurance plans, as well as Medicare and Medicaid, provide Hospice care coverage for your loved ones. This will give you the peace of mind needed that they can and will receive specialized Hospice care.
