Our staff at Regional Hospice is committed to providing a peaceful environment and compassionate care to each individual. Since 1983, we have been dedicated to supporting those in the Fairfield area with terminal illnesses and their families through medical, emotional, and spiritual support. We come alongside Fairfield families who are dealing with the end-of-life care for their loved ones and assist them with providing the peaceful, dignified care they deserve.
In addition to our in-residence hospice care, we have built Connecticut’s only private suite hospice center, our Center for Comfort Care and Healing. At this new center, we offer the latest in technologies and therapies to give your loved one peace during their end-of-life care.
We are proud to have been able to serve the Fairfield community for decades and now are thankful to be able to open our center to families who need a hospice center with state-of-the-art technology.
Our skilled and caring staff offers around-the-clock care in either your home or ours. Whether caring for your loved one in their home, assisted living facility, or our Center for Comfort Care and Healing, you can trust they will receive the best care.
We understand that each patient has unique needs. In addition to pain and symptom management, we can deliver services such as speech, physical, and occupational therapies. We employ a number of professionals including physicians, registered nurses, social workers, chaplains, hospice care aides, and trained volunteers.
Compassion, Peace and Dignity
Our team at Regional Hospice believes each individual deserves end-of-life care with dignity and compassion. We support families and patients during this time, giving patients the pain and symptom management tools they need to spend some peaceful moments with the ones they love.
Comfort Versus Curative
Our focus in hospice is on allowing the patient and family a semblance of normalcy during the final months of the patient’s life. We work to provide relief from pain and stress for the patient. Those who may want to consider this option are patients whose terminal illness has a prognosis of 6 months or less and children who have been diagnosed with a life-limiting illness.
A Doctor’s Referral is Not Necessary
Though physicians can certainly refer patients in their care, anyone can request hospice care. We offer an online referral right here on our site for friends, family, clergy, and home care agencies to refer their loved ones within the Fairfield area.
Hospice is Affordable
Whether your health coverage is through a private company, Medicaid, or Medicare, hospice care can be covered.
Our caring team comes to your residence whether it is a Fairfield home, assisted living residence, or skilled nursing facility.
