Home Hospice Care

Any person with a terminal illness, regardless of age, is eligible for our hospice care programs. Home Hospice Care comes to you, wherever you reside–your home, assisted living residence, or skilled nursing facility.

The Center for Comfort Care & Healing

Regional Hospice provides expert hospice care to patients wherever they are–in their home, in a skilled nursing facility, or at our Center for Comfort Care and Healing.

Children's Care

Our program provides physical, emotional, and spiritual support for families whose babies have died or have been diagnosed with a terminal condition prior to delivery.

Healing Hearts Program for Grief & Loss

More than 30 programs, support groups, workshops, and memorial events help to heal the pain of grief and loss.

A distinguished nonprofit hospice provider since 1983, Regional Hospice walks alongside Fishkill patients and their loved ones enabling those in our care to focus on what matters: living fully when facing life-limiting illness. Patients of all ages―from babies to adults― benefit from our in-patient services. Our Danbury Center for Comfort Care & Healing is the first residential hospice center of its kind in Connecticut, offering all the comforts and amenities of home to patients throughout Fishkill.

Palliative Care

Who We Are and Why We Serve Fishkill?

Since 1983, Regional Hospice has provided care choices for terminal patients and their families during the sacred end-of-life transition. Our Center for Comfort Care & Healing is the first hospice residence of its kind in Connecticut and is available to anyone in the U.S. Fishkill residents benefit from 24/7 clinical care in private suites with screened in balconies, wood furnishings and chef-prepared custom meals. The Center replicates the comforts of home, where loved ones can focus on quality time together.

Regional Hospice gives care and treatment 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, regardless of where treatment is rendered.

Our devoted doctors, attendants, social laborers, ministers, hospice care helpers, and prepared hospice volunteers give the best treatment alternatives that meet the individual needs of our patients and may incorporate pain management, symptom control, speech therapy as well as physical and occupational therapies.

A Doctor’s Referral is Not Necessary

Any individual who makes a request for our hospice care will be admitted under the care of one of our doctors. No referral is essential; be that as it may, referrals can be made on our site.

Perinatal & Pediatric Care

Our Pediatric and Perinatal Hospice Programs give physical, emotional and spiritual help to Fishkill families with infants and children who have terminal diseases. We are here to help families every single step of the path from pregnancy, labor, and birth, to life and even misfortune and remembrance.

Our Pediatric and Perinatal Hospice care and treatment incorporates medicinal services visits and ongoing support with perinatal consideration.
