Since 1983, Regional Hospice has provided care choices for terminal patients and their families during the sacred end-of-life transition. Our Center for Comfort Care & Healing is the first hospice residence of its kind in Connecticut and is available to anyone in the U.S. Greenwich residents benefit from 24/7 clinical care in private suites with screened in balconies, wood furnishings and chef-prepared custom meals. The Center replicates the comforts of home, where loved ones can focus on quality time together.
Whether you’re comfortable at your Greenwich home or facility, or staying in one of our impressive suites at the Center for Comfort Care and Healing, Regional Hospice provides a high standard of hospice services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Our physicians, registered nurses, social workers, chaplains, hospice care aides and trained hospice volunteers provide and follow customized treatment plans based off of our patients needs and wishes, always maintaining a level of professionalism and respect. In addition we offer speech, physical, and occupational therapy for those in need.
Compassion, Peace and Dignity
Treating our patients with compassion, peace, and dignity isn’t taken lightly amongst our staff, we strive to create only the most comfortable and helpful environment and services while caring for your loved one.
Comfort Versus Curative
We recommend starting the conversation on end-of-life services when a loved one is presented with a prognosis of 6 months or less, after a disease has run its normal course, or to children suffering from a terminal illness. We are here to answer any and all questions and provide care to your loved one.
A Doctor’s Referral is Not Necessary
Our services can be requested by a hospital, clergy, family member, friend, or other care agency. Patients will be admitted under the medical advice of a physician. We also offer an online hospice referral form that prospective patients can fill out at their convenience.
Hospice is Affordable
Hospice care is covered by Medicare, Medicaid and most private health insurances, insuring your loved one receives the care and services they need.
Home Hospice Care comes to your home, assisted living residence or skilled nursing facility to provide you with quality care and support.
