Assistance with prenatal and pediatric hospice care for families with babies and children experiencing a terminal condition. Our support will be throughout the experience.
Since 1983, Regional Hospice has provided care choices for terminal patients and their families during the sacred end-of-life transition. Our Center for Comfort Care & Healing is the first hospice residence of its kind in Connecticut and is available to anyone in the U.S. Katonah residents benefit from 24/7 clinical care in private suites with screened in balconies, wood furnishings and chef-prepared custom meals. The Center replicates the comforts of home, where loved ones can focus on quality time together.
At our Danbury Center for Comfort Care and Healing, Regional Hospice contributes hospice care services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Individual care plans are followed by physicians, registered nurses, social workers, chaplains, hospice care aides and hospice volunteers for Katonah patients’ individual pain management needs and symptom control with speech, physical and occupational therapy services.
Compassion, Peace and Dignity
You and your loved ones will be supported during this hard time with the compassion they deserve. Our symptom and pain management skills allow end-of-life patients accomplish quality of life enhancing goals.
Comfort Versus Curative
For terminal prognoses of 6 months or less, (a disease that has run its course) or a child with a life-limiting illness, consider hospice. Our objective is giving the best quality of life to you and your loved one in the final portion of their time.
A Doctor’s Referral is Not Necessary
Anyone such as a hospital, clergy, family, friend or home care agency may request hospice care to admit a patient under a physician’s care. Online hospice referrals are conveniently available through our site.
Hospice is Affordable
Medicare, Medicaid, and most private health insurances cover hospice care to provide high-quality care to your loved one.
Katonah families with babies diagnosed with a terminal condition or have died can expect physical, emotional, and spiritual support from our Pediatric & Perinatal Hospice Programs. We aid families during the journey of pregnancy, labor, birth, life, and remembrance.
Healthcare professionals with exceptional skills in perinatal care, instruction for caring for babies at home, and community resource assistance make visits during Pediatric & Perinatal Hospice care.
