We’re proud to announce that after years of consideration, we’ve constructed Connecticut’s first and only, state-of-the-art, private suite hospice center. This is our Center for Comfort Care and Healing in CT.

Patients will receive unwavering compassion and support in the comfort of their own home or at our center. Our services are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Physicians, registered nurses, social workers, chaplains, hospice care aides and trained hospice volunteers follow care plans individually designed for each patient. We focus on the individuals symptoms, condition, and pain levels to create a plan of action. We may also suggest certain therapies like speech, physical and occupational.

A Doctor’s Referral is Not Necessary
Anyone may request hospice care, we offer patients an online referral form for their convenience. A patient is typically referred by a hospital, clergy, family, friend or other home care agency and will be admitted under a physician’s orders.
Hospice is Affordable
You won’t have to worry about cost because hospice care is covered by Medicare, Medicaid and most private health insurances, so you can give your loved one high-quality care.

When working with outside of For our Kent patients who are living in a skilled nursing facility or an assisted living home, we establish a comfortable and trusted contract through Regional Hospice. This allows for the visitation and care of our properly trained hospice volunteers. These individuals can provide companionship for our patients, help with various therapy programs, and also provide a break for hard working caregivers.
For some, staying at home to receive hospice care is no longer an option, this is where we step in with our quality inpatient services. At our Inpatient Hospice Center in Danbury we accommodate our patients and their families while providing top medical care and respecting each patient’s goals. Through our Pediatric & Perinatal Hospice Programs we provide each family and their baby or child with physical, emotional, and spiritual support. We are with you from pregnancy, to birth, to life, and remembrance. We provide care and support to those whose children are diagnosed with a terminal illness or have passed.
Pediatric & Perinatal Hospice care combines the access to expert healthcare professionals, with special instruction on caring for your baby at home. We can also provide information on local resources for our Kent families to reach out to.
Palliative Home Care offers:
Palliative Home Care should be considered for those with serious or advanced illness. This service integrates experienced pain and symptom management, occasionally in conjunction with curative treatment. This lets us provide the highest quality of patient care.
Our Palliative Home Care Program works in combination with physician care while letting patients actively seek specialized treatments. This program is intended for homebound patients with a skilled need and is particularly helpful when symptoms are difficult to control.
Our Pediatric & Perinatal Hospice Programs provide you and your children with physical, emotional, and spiritual support. We accompany Kent families throughout the journey of pregnancy, labor, birth, life and remembrance.
