Since 1983, Regional Hospice has provided care choices for terminal patients and their families during the sacred end-of-life transition. Our Center for Comfort Care & Healing is the first hospice residence of its kind in Connecticut and is available to anyone in the U.S. Middlebury residents benefit from 24/7 clinical care in private suites with screened in balconies, wood furnishings and chef-prepared custom meals. The Center replicates the comforts of home, where loved ones can focus on quality time together.
For quality and convenient care everyone in need of hospice services can find what fits best here at Regional Hospice. We offer in-home and in-patient services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
With a staff full of doctors, nurses, social workers, chaplains, hospice care aides, and trained volunteers we are proud to provide a comprehensive and customized treatment plan for each patient. We always keep their pain management, symptoms, and special services in mind.
Compassion, Peace and Dignity
Treating your loved one with care and compassion is our top priority. We treat everyone here as if they were our own, always keeping in mind their personal wishes when it comes to treatment.
Comfort Versus Curative
Those with terminal illnesses should consider hospice care when a prognosis of 6 months or less is given, or a child is suffering from a life-limiting illness. We are here to treat your loved one with respect and compassion during their end-of-life care.
A Doctor’s Referral is Not Necessary
A family member, friend, neighbor, agency, or hospital can refer a patient to us, and will be admitted to our facility under the direction of a doctor. We offer an online hospice referral for your convenience which is located right here on our website.
Hospice is Affordable
Medicare, Medicaid, and most private health insurances cover hospice care, letting you put your focus on your loved one.
Our Home Hospice Care can come to your Middlebury home, assisted living facility, or nursing home.
