Since 1983, Regional Hospice has provided care choices for terminal patients and their families during the sacred end-of-life transition. Our Center for Comfort Care & Healing is the first hospice residence of its kind in Connecticut and is available to anyone in the U.S. Mount Kisco residents benefit from 24/7 clinical care in private suites with screened in balconies, wood furnishings and chef-prepared custom meals. The Center replicates the comforts of home, where loved ones can focus on quality time together.
Regional Hospice is ready to help you and your family. We provide care in at our Danbury facility everyday of the week, 24 hours a day.
Our vast professional staff works together to create a specific healthcare plan for each patients needs. We will figure out what services will best minimize pain and symptoms. Whether it be physical therapy, occupational therapy, or a number of our other services. Our staff finds what will work best for you and your loved ones.
Compassion, Peace and Dignity
You and your family should expect to be treated with compassion, peace, and dignity. We understand that this can be a hard, confusing time. We want to help support you and your loved ones. We are prepared to help you navigate this experience with compassion and the best possible care.
Comfort Versus Curative
It is our goal to make sure you and your loved ones are experiencing the best quality of life possible for their remaining days. Hospice care is an option for those who have a terminal illness, with less than six months to live. It is also an option for children experiencing a life-limiting disease.
A Doctor’s Referral is Not Necessary
Regional Hospice has created a convenient referral service. You can find our online hospice referrals on our website. You do not need a doctor’s referral. Someone in your Mount Kisco community may refer you: a hospital, clergy, family, friend, etc. A referral may be completed by simply accessing our website.
Hospice is Affordable
Hospice care does not have to drain your bank account. Hospice care is covered by Medicare, Medicaid and most private health insurances. It is possible to provide your loved ones with affordable, high quality care.
We are here for families who have children suffering from a terminal disease or who have passed away.
