Since 1983, Regional Hospice has provided care choices for terminal patients and their families during the sacred end-of-life transition. Our Center for Comfort Care & Healing is the first hospice residence of its kind in Connecticut and is available to anyone in the U.S. Orange residents benefit from 24/7 clinical care in private suites with screened in balconies, wood furnishings and chef-prepared custom meals. The Center replicates the comforts of home, where loved ones can focus on quality time together.
We offer our hospice services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week whether you receive them at your home in Orange or at ours at the Center for Comfort Care and Healing. Regional Hospice is honored to care for such incredible patients.
All of our physicians, nurses, social workers, chaplains, and volunteers follows specific treatment plans for each patient based off of their conditions and symptoms. In addition we offer certain additional services like speech, physical, and occupational therapy.
Compassion, Peace and Dignity
Our patients comfort is the center of our treatment plans. We do everything we can to provide tailored medical, emotional, and spiritual support to those in need of hospice care. By managing pain and symptoms and staying in-line with our patients wishes we strive to create a comfortable environment for your loved one.
Comfort Versus Curative
We suggest patients consider our end-of-life care when a terminal prognosis of 6 months or less is given, or when a child is suffering from a terminal illness. We treat each patient with respect and dignity regardless of their age or condition.
A Doctor’s Referral is Not Necessary
Anyone can refer someone to us, regardless of your relationship to the patient. Hospitals, family, friends, clergy members, and other agencies can refer patients, and they will be admitted to us under a doctor’s orders. We have an online referral form that can be filled out here on our site.
Hospice is Affordable
Let your focus stay on your loved one instead of worrying about finances. Hospice care is covered by Medicare, Medicaid, and most private health insurances.
Home Hospice Care is at your convenience, whether you live at your home in Orange, an assisted living facility, or nursing home we can come to you.
