A distinguished nonprofit hospice provider since 1983, Regional Hospice walks alongside Poughkeepsie patients and their loved ones enabling those in our care to focus on what matters: living fully when facing life-limiting illness. Our Danbury Center for Comfort Care & Healing is the first residential hospice center of its kind in Connecticut, offering all the comforts and amenities of home to patients throughout Poughkeepsie.
If you are in need of treatment for life-limiting and advanced illnesses, we provide a research-focused approach to care and treatment for Poughkeepsie patients that hones in on pain management as well as mental and physical stress.
We also offer pediatric care in Poughkeepsie for terminally ill children. We provide prenatal and pediatric hospice care and are dedicated to helping families during this trying journey.

The Center replicates the comforts of home, where loved ones can focus on quality time together.
We offer care and treatment 24 hours per day, 7 days per week at Regional Hospice, regardless of where treatment is rendered.
We have a team of dedicated physicians, registered nurses, social workers, chaplains, hospice care aides, and trained hospice volunteers to give your loved one customized treatment options that meet their individual needs. This may include pain management, symptom control, speech therapy, and physical and occupational therapies.

Comfort Versus Curative

A Doctor’s Referral is Not Necessary
Any individual who makes a request for our hospice care will be admitted under the care of one of our doctors. No referral is essential; be that as it may, referrals can be made on our site.
