Since 1983, Regional Hospice has provided care choices for terminal patients and their families during the sacred end-of-life transition. Our Center for Comfort Care & Healing is the first hospice residence of its kind in Connecticut and is available to anyone in the U.S. Pound Ridge residents benefit from 24/7 clinical care in private suites with screened in balconies, wood furnishings and chef-prepared custom meals. The Center replicates the comforts of home, where loved ones can focus on quality time together.

Comfort Versus Curative
We aim to provide the highest level of comfort and best quality of life when in our care. Families may consider hospice when a loved one has been given six months or less to live.
A Doctor’s Referral is Not Necessary
You or your loved one do not need a doctor’s referral to receive hospice care. A family member or anyone in your Pound Ridge community may refer you. There is a section on our website where you can easily fill out a referral form online.
Hospice is Affordable
It is possible to receive great care at an affordable price. Infact, most insurances now cover hospice care.
We have been helping Pound Ridge families with perinatal and pediatric care for three decades. Our Pediatric & Perinatal Hospice Programs offers support in whatever capacity it is needed: physical, emotional, or spiritual. We are here to provide care and resources to families who have a child that has been diagnosed with or that has passed away from a terminal illness.
Our Pediatric & Perinatal Hospice Program staff will not only provide exceptional care, but will also assist you in finding community resources in Pound Ridge.
