Regional Hospice and Home Care Seeks Donations for Thrifts-2-Gifts Fundraiser

(Danbury, Conn.) — If you have furniture, clothing, housewares, jewelry, sports equipment or vintage items in your garage or attic waiting for a new home, please consider donating them to Regional Hospice and Home Care for its first-ever Thrifts-2-Gifts Fall Sale fundraising event.

Thirfts 2 Gifts logo draftAll proceeds from the sale of items will directly support patients and families receiving end-of-life care at Regional Hospice and Home Care’s Center for Comfort Care & Healing in Danbury.
Drop-off dates for donations are Thursday, Sept 10 and Friday, Sept 11 from 9 am to 2 pm and 5 to 6 pm at the Center for Comfort Care & Healing, 30 Milestone Road in Danbury.

Acceptable items include working or gently used: area rugs, collectibles, strollers, children’s bicycles, designer clothing and shoes, framed art and photo frames, furniture, home and garden decor, housewares and mirrors, jewelry and fashion accessories, lamps, lawn equipment, linens for bed and kitchen, luggage, skis and boots, small appliances, sporting equipment and vintage items.

For those seeking new treasures, the Thrifts-to-Gifts Fall Sale will take place at the Center for Comfort Care & Healing, 30 Milestone Road in Danbury, on Saturday, Sept 12 from 10 am to 4 pm with a rain date of Sept 19.
