Our Center for Comfort Care & Healing is the first hospice residence of its kind in Connecticut and is available to anyone in the U.S. Roxbury residents benefit from 24/7 clinical care in private suites with screened in balconies, wood furnishings and chef-prepared custom meals. The Center replicates the comforts of home, where loved ones can focus on quality time together.

Regional Hospice provides quality and convenient hospice services at your Roxbury home, nursing facility, or assisted living residence, in addition to our new home, the Center for Comfort Care and Healing. Our medical care is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Our physicians, registered nurses, social workers, chaplains, hospice care aides and trained hospice volunteers follow customized care plans that will specifically target each patient’s pain and symptoms. They will also be focused on any additional services like speech, occupational, or physical therapy.

Comfort Versus Curative

A Doctor’s Referral is Not Necessary
Anyone can request our care, though many patients are referred to us by a hospital, family member, friend, or other agency. Our patients are then admitted to us under a doctor’s orders. We offer an online referral form for your convenience.

Hospice is Affordable
Making hospice care as available as possible, it is covered by Medicare, Medicaid, and most private health insurances.

Perinatal & Pediatric Care

Our Roxbury families whose babies have been diagnosed with a terminal condition can find physical, emotional, and spiritual support through our Pediatric & Perinatal Hospice Program. Our staff is here to support you and your entire family throughout the entire journey, from pregnancy to remembrance.

We provide many services through our Pediatric & Perinatal Hospice Program, including visits from healthcare experts, advice and instruction on caring for your baby at home, along with guidance in connecting with local support groups.
