Since 1983, Regional Hospice has been providing caring, end-of-life services to our Connecticut community. Our services have provided care and comfort to families all across the state, while supporting their families emotionally and spiritually.
We are now pleased to welcome patients into the Center for Comfort Care and Healing in CT, the states first and only private suite hospice center. We made sure to give each room a beautiful view so patients can enjoy their time even more with their family.
Not only have we provided exceptional quality for in-home hospice care for 35 years, we are now able to care for your loved ones in our space, too.
Whether inside your Danbury home or facility, or at our home, the Center for Comfort Care and Healing, Regional Hospice provides exceptional, convenient, hospice care services around the clock.
Different people including physicians, social workers, chaplains, registered nurses, hospice care aides and trained hospice volunteers help patients follow individualized health care plans designed for pain management and symptom control. They also work to maintain special services such as speech, physical and occupational therapy.
Compassion, Peace and Dignity
We support you and your loved ones during your difficult time treating you and them with the compassion, peace and dignity they deserve. We work with symptom and pain management that allow end-of-life patients to achieve new goals and improve the quality of life.
Comfort versus Curative
Hospice care should be considered when a terminal prognosis of 6 months or less is made, or if a child is suffering from a terminal illness. Our entire staff works closely together to provide a comprehensive plan of care for your loved one.
A Doctor’s Referral is Not Necessary
Anyone may request hospice care. A patient may be referred by a hospital, clergy, family, friend or other home care agency and will be admitted under a physician’s direction. Conveniently you can refer an individual through our website.
Hospice is Affordable
Medicare, Medicaid and many private health insurances cover hospice care, which allows you to provide them with safe and exceptional care.
Whether your loved one lives at home, in assisted living or in a skilled nursing facility, Home Hospice Care will come to you and accommodate your needs.
