It has been an honor to help patients suffering from life-limiting illnesses since 1983, and continue to treat each individual with respect, compassion, and dignity. Regional Hospice and Palliative Care helps patients remain at home and receive quality hospice care to help subdue their pain and symptoms.

In addition, we are thrilled to now offer our patients the option of receiving care at the Center for Comfort Care and Healing in CT, the states very first private suite hospice center.

For those who can no longer receive care at home we invite you to the Center for Comfort Care and Healing. Regional Hospice and Palliative Care is equipped to help patients 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Physicians, registered nurses, social workers, chaplains, hospice care aides and trained hospice volunteers work closely together, following each patients individual care plan based off of their pain and symptoms. Some patients may undergo speech, physical, or occupational therapies for further help.

We do everything we can to accommodate our patients, sometimes their hospice care can no longer be received in the comfort of their home, so we do everything we can to create a relaxing atmosphere at our Inpatient Hospice Center in Danbury. We stick to customized treatment plans and always keep our patients’ personal goals in mind.

Palliative Care for Southington Residents

Patients in the Southington area can find needed relief from our Palliative Home Care Program, which focuses on pain and symptom relief from advanced illnesses. To achieve this goal patients are given specialized medical care and treatments.

Palliative Home Care offers:

* Nursing care to meet a skilled need for a serious or chronic illness

* Pain and symptom management

* Emotional and spiritual support for both patients and families through social workers and clergy

* Other services like speech, physical and occupational therapy when needed

Palliative Home Care lets patients find relief from the beginning of their diagnosis by targeting their pain and symptoms that accompany most advanced illnesses. For some patients this form of care is combined with curative measures.

Patients in the Palliative Home Care Program will work closely with their experienced physician to continually try out new specialized treatments. Patients who are homebound with special skills or those who have pain and symptoms that are hard to control benefit greatly from this program.

Perinatal & Pediatric Care

Our Pediatric & Perinatal Hospice Programs offer comfort and strength to families whose babies and children are suffering from advanced illnesses. We understand this can be a very overwhelming time for both your child and entire family. We offer emotional, spiritual, and physical support.

Our Pediatric & Perinatal Hospice Program includes visits from healthcare professionals, instruction in caring for your little one at home, and help reaching out to local Southington support groups.
