A distinguished nonprofit hospice provider since 1983, Regional Hospice walks alongside Stormville patients and their loved ones enabling those in our care to focus on what matters: living fully when facing life-limiting illness. Patients of all ages―from babies to adults― benefit from our in-patient services. Our Danbury Center for Comfort Care & Healing is the first residential hospice center of its kind in Connecticut, offering all the comforts and amenities of home to patients throughout Stormville.
Our Stormville patients suffering from advanced illnesses that are life-limited are cared for by our team of compassionate caregivers who render specialized treatments that not only help with their pain and discomfort but also assist with their emotional and mental struggles.
Here at Regional Hospice Care we also provide the highest quality pediatric care to our child patients who have been diagnosed with a terminal illness. We strive to deliver both prenatal and pediatric hospice care to all our Stormville children and are committed to providing all the comfort, compassion and support needed by their loved ones and family members.
Since 1983, Regional Hospice has provided care choices for terminal patients and their families during the sacred end-of-life transition. Our Center for Comfort Care & Healing is the first hospice residence of its kind in Connecticut and is available to anyone in the U.S. Stormville residents benefit from 24/7 clinical care in private suites with screened in balconies, wood furnishings and chef-prepared custom meals. The Center replicates the comforts of home, where loved ones can focus on quality time together.
The team here at Regional Hospice Center provides 24/7 care and treatment to all those in need.
With a dedicated team of physicians, registered nurses, social workers, chaplains, hospice care aides, and trained hospice volunteers, we strive to deliver customized treatment plans that meet the individual needs of all our valued patients. From pain management, symptom control, and speech therapy, both physical and occupational therapies, we provide and handle it all.

A Doctor’s Referral is Not Necessary

Hospice is Affordable
Watching a loved one during their final days can be overwhelmingly difficult and emotional but knowing that private health insurance plans as well as Medicare and Medicaid provide the coverage needed, provides family members with comfort and peace of mind knowing that their loved ones will be properly cared for.
Further to our services, here at Regional Hospice we also offer Pediatric and Perinatal Hospice Programs that give focus to our Stormville families who have infants and children diagnosed with terminal illnesses. We provide not only physical help but emotional and spiritual help as well and are there beside you every step of your difficult journey from pregnancy, labor, and birth, to life, misfortune and remembrance.
Our Pediatric and Perinatal Hospice care and treatment programs are a collaboration of medicinal services, visits and continued support all with perinatal consideration.
