The foundation of Regional Hospice and Palliative Care was built on serving our patients and helping them during this difficult time. Our services are created to aid in improving their quality of life, supporting their family members, all with compassion, understanding, and dignity.
To fulfill our mission of serving our Stratford patients in the best way possible, we developed Connecticut’s very first inpatient private suite hospice center. Titled the Center for Comfort Care and Healing, it is a new and improved experience for hospice patients.
We give our most dedicated attention to every service we provide. This includes our in-home hospice care, as well as our inpatient care. Wherever we serve you, you can count on quality care.
Our professional and exceptional services are available throughout Stratford all around the clock. 24/7, whenever you need our assistance, we are there for you. These services are available to all of our patients — in-home, inpatient, palliative, and pediatric.
In order to accomplish our mission of providing the best service for our Stratford patients, our teams are comprised of expert and committed individuals. These teams are made up of physicians, registered nurses, social workers, and more to help with pain control and life quality. Trained volunteers also help with therapy programs where appropriate.
Compassion, Peace and Dignity
Regional Hospice and Palliative Care takes great pride in the services offered, including full familial support. We make sure there is peace and comfort for all we help serve. We also strive to help our patients achieve goals and improvements they would like to see. All of our services are provided with the utmost understanding.
Comfort Versus Curative
We generally suggest hospice consideration when there is a terminal prognosis or a life-limiting illness, specifically with a diagnosis of 6 months of less. This can be a difficult time, which is why we provide the highest quality of living for your loved ones during this period.
A Doctor’s Referral is Not Necessary
Regional Hospice tries to make its services available to anyone and as convenient as possible. Hospice care requests can come from anyone — family, friends, hospital, clergy. We even offer an online referral system through our website for a simple referral process.
Hospice is Affordable
Our services would not be the trusted choice for Stratford without being affordable for our patients. Our hospice care is covered by most private health insurance policies, including Medicaid and Medicare.
We provide exceptional and respectable hospice care all throughout Stratford. Wherever our patients are, whether that’s in home, at an assisted living residence, or other, we are there to serve.
