Whether or not you can make it to Regional Hospice and Home Care’s 5th Annual Clancy Relocation and Logistics Golf Classic on August 24, 2015 at the Ridgewood Country Club in Danbury, you can still offer your support of the hospice’s work by “Taking a Tee.”
“Regional Hospice and Home Care does an exceptional job caring for our community members, families and friends at a very difficult time in one’s life,” said Billy Craig of Craig’s Jewelers in Ridgefield, who is chairing the golf classic for the first time this year. “Taking a Tee is a great way to get involved and offer support of the hospice’s important work.”
For a $200 donation, individuals or companies can “Take a Tee.” Tee signs can be made with either a company name or customized tribute in memory or honor of a loved one and will be placed throughout the course for all players to see during the golf classic.
Funds raised from the golf classic will directly support patient care at Regional Hospice and Home Care.
Craig took over the torch as chairman of the golf classic from Larry Riefberg of Riefberg, Smart, Donohue & NeJame, P.C. He is joined by co-chairmen George Mulvaney of Mulvaney Mechanical and Mark Paladino of Colonial Ford. Members of the golf committee also include: Jerry Benziger, Fil Cerminara, John Clancy, Brian Crotty, Michele Desrosier, Robin Ely, Dave LaJoie, Tom McCarthy, Chip Neumann, MaryBeth Prunty, Larry Riefberg, Meg Riefberg, Bill Sabatini, Dr. Paul White and Wendy White.
Sponsorship opportunities available for the golf classic range from tee signs for $200 and hole signs for $500 (which includes a half-page program ad) to a $2,500 beverage cart sponsorship and a $6,000 golf ball sponsorship, with many options in between.
