A distinguished nonprofit hospice provider since 1983, Regional Hospice walks alongside Wappingers Falls patients and their loved ones enabling those in our care to focus on what matters: living fully when facing life-limiting illness. Patients of all ages―from babies to adults― benefit from our in-patient services. Our Danbury Center for Comfort Care & Healing is the first residential hospice center of its kind in Connecticut, offering all the comforts and amenities of home to patients throughout Wappingers Falls.
For those of our Wappingers Falls patients who have life-limited advanced illnesses, our team of compassionate physicians, nurses and caregivers strive to help minimize patients’ pain and discomfort while assisting with their emotional and mental challenges.
Regional Hospice Care also renders superior pediatric care to our Wappingers Falls child patients who have been diagnosed with a terminal illness. We deliver both prenatal and pediatric hospice care and are steadfast in providing comfort, compassion and support to all our patients and their family members.
Since 1983, Regional Hospice has provided care choices for terminal patients and their families during the sacred end-of-life transition. Our Center for Comfort Care & Healing is the first hospice residence of its kind in Connecticut and is available to anyone in the U.S. Wappingers Falls residents benefit from 24/7 clinical care in private suites with screened in balconies, wood furnishings and chef-prepared custom meals. The Center replicates the comforts of home, where loved ones can focus on quality time together.

The highly committed and dedicated team of physicians, registered nurses, social workers, chaplains, hospice care aides, and trained hospice volunteers, are steadfast in delivering quality, customized treatment plans that meet the individual needs of all our Wappingers Falls patients. From pain management, symptom control, and speech therapy, to both physical and occupational therapies, our compassionate team is on hand to provide them all.

Comfort Versus Curative
The dedicated physicians and specialists here at Regional Hospice are also recognized for the exceptional in-patient care and treatment we provide to our child patients 6 months of age and younger. We strive to deliver the highest quality care and treatment to all our Wappingers Falls children while providing much needed support to family members as well.
A Doctor’s Referral is Not Necessary
There is no need to obtain a doctor’s referral for individuals to be admitted into our Hospice Center. All individuals are immediately placed under the care of one of our dedicated, caring hospice physicians. Referrals can be made on our site if need be.
Hospice is Affordable
Private health insurance plans as well as Medicare and Medicaid provide the coverage needed to loved ones and ultimately affords family members the comfort and peace of mind they need knowing that their loved ones will be properly cared for.
Here at Regional Hospice we also offer Pediatric and Perinatal Hospice Programs to all our Wappingers Falls families who have infants and children suffering from terminal illnesses. Not only do we provide physical help to all but we also provide emotional and spiritual help as well. Our team of compassionate professionals are there beside you every step of your difficult journey from pregnancy, labor, and birth, to life, misfortune and remembrance.
The Pediatric and Perinatal Hospice care and treatment programs we offer are a collaboration of medicinal services, visits and continued support all with perinatal consideration.
