Our beloved West Haven patients have seeked our quality hospice care from us here at Regional Hospice and Palliative Care since 1983. We provide physical, emotional, and spiritual help for those suffering from advanced illnesses. After careful planning and consideration we are proud to have built Connecticut’s only private suite hospice center, the Center for Comfort Care and Healing in CT. After decades of treating patients in the comfort of their own homes we are honored to now welcome you into ours to receive your hospice care.

Why Choose the Regional Hospice Center

Knowing that our patients pain doesn’t abide by normal business hours, our services are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Regional Hospice and Palliative Care have help those in need either at their home or in ours at the Center for Comfort Care and Healing.

Our entire staff, made up of nurses, physicians, aids, volunteers, chaplains, and social workers work together to create and follow individualized care plans for each patient. They focus on managing symptoms and reducing pain that may accompany their illness. We also offer speech, physical, and occupational therapy to our patients.

By supporting our patients, providing reputable medical care, and creating lasting bonds between patient and caregiver, our hospice care is truly unbeatable. We put our patients needs above all else, tailoring treatment plans and respecting their personal wishes.

Comfort Versus Curative
We can provide our reputable hospice care when a terminal prognosis of 6 months or less is determined, or when a child is battling the effects of a life-limiting illness. We care for each patient with love and respect.

A Doctor’s Referral is Not Necessary
Anyone in need of end-of-life care can request our hospice care. A doctor’s referral is not required, though patients will be admitted under a physician. Friends, family, agencies, or hospitals can refer patients to us, we even have an online referral form for easier access.

Hospice is Affordable
Hospice should be affordable for all. That’s why our quality hospice care is covered by Medicare, Medicaid, and most private health insurance companies.

Palliative Care for West Haven Residents

Our Palliative Home Care Program helps patients suffering from advanced illnesses find relief from pain and learn more about their condition and how to manage its symptoms. Through specialized medical treatments patients can gain back their quality of life.
