For over 30 years we have worked to arrange arrange  in-home, inpatient, palliative and pediatric hospice care for Greater Westchester County area families and individuals.

Home Hospice

Regardless of age and health condition, we provide Westchester County residents in need of compassionate care all within the comfort of their own home.

Inpatient Hospice

Regional Hospice and Palliative Care has helped patients in the Naugatuck area since 1983 receive reputable hospice care. We treat our patients with respect while they live out their remaining days either at home or in our inpatient facility in Danbury. We treat everyone with comfort and care while helping them emotionally, spiritually and physically

We are now pleased to welcome patients into the Center for Comfort Care and Healing in CT, the states first and only private suite hospice center. We made sure to give each room a beautiful view so patients can enjoy their time even more with their loved ones.

The Regional Hospice center is where patients decide they no longer want to go through curative treatments that are difficult and painful, or that require them to go into a hospital. Patients may also want to stay home and spend time with those they love while staying in a familiar space.

Comfort Versus Curative
Our hospice care when a terminal prognosis of 6 months or less is presented to your loved one, or if a child is suffering from a life-limiting illness. Our expert staff will treat you and your loved one with only the best care and support during their time with us.

A Doctor’s Referral is Not Necessary
Though anyone can request our hospice services, patients are admitted under a doctor’s orders, and are often referred by a hospital, clergy, family, friend or other home care agency. We offer an online hospice referral form on our website.

Hospice is Affordable
We make sure hospice is affordable for those who need it. At Regional Hospice and Palliative Care we accept most major private insurance such as Medicare and Medicaid.

Palliative Care for Westchester County Residents

For patients suffering from a serious illness we can offer our Palliative Home Care Program where they can gain a degree of relief from symptoms and pain associated with their illness.

Palliative Home Care offers:

  • Nursing care to meet a skilled need for a serious or chronic illness
  • Pain and symptom management
  • Emotional and spiritual support for both patients and families through social workers and clergy
  • Other services like speech, physical and occupational therapy when needed

Palliative care can be helpful at any stage of illness and is best provided from the point of diagnosis. In addition to improving quality of life and helping with symptoms, palliative care can assist patients while they understand their choices for future or current medical treatment.

Our Palliative care team provides Westchester County patients emotional and practical support in order to create the best plan as possible. The overall goal is to improve both the quality of life for both the person and their family.

Perinatal & Pediatric Care

Families who have a baby with a terminal illness or have died should consider our Pediatric & Perinatal Hospice Programs. During your time of grief, we will support you with guidance and healing. We can accompany families throughout the journey of pregnancy, labor, birth, life and remembrance.

You can expect visits by experienced healthcare professionals, helpful instruction on caring for your baby at home, and further assistance in connecting with local Westchester County resources. Our Pediatric & Perinatal Hospice Care is here to help you throughout the entire process.
