Since 1983, Regional Hospice has provided care choices for terminal patients and their families during the sacred end-of-life transition. Our Center for Comfort Care & Healing is the first hospice residence of its kind in Connecticut and is available to anyone in the U.S. Westchester County residents benefit from 24/7 clinical care in private suites with screened in balconies, wood furnishings and chef-prepared custom meals. The Center replicates the comforts of home, where loved ones can focus on quality time together.

The Regional Hospice center is where patients decide they no longer want to go through curative treatments that are difficult and painful, or that require them to go into a hospital. Patients may also want to stay home and spend time with those they love while staying in a familiar space.

Comfort Versus Curative
Our hospice care when a terminal prognosis of 6 months or less is presented to your loved one, or if a child is suffering from a life-limiting illness. Our expert staff will treat you and your loved one with only the best care and support during their time with us.
A Doctor’s Referral is Not Necessary
Though anyone can request our hospice services, patients are admitted under a doctor’s orders, and are often referred by a hospital, clergy, family, friend or other home care agency. We offer an online hospice referral form on our website.
Hospice is Affordable
We make sure hospice is affordable for those who need it. At Regional Hospice we accept most major private insurance such as Medicare and Medicaid.
Families who have a baby with a terminal illness or have died should consider our Pediatric & Perinatal Hospice Programs. During your time of grief, we will support you with guidance and healing. We can accompany families throughout the journey of pregnancy, labor, birth, life and remembrance.
