Any person with a terminal illness, regardless of age, is eligible for our hospice care programs. Home Hospice Care comes to you, wherever you reside–your home, assisted living residence, or skilled nursing facility.

Since 1983, the team of dedicated, compassionate professionals at Regional Hospice has been offering end-of-life care to our Wingdale patients as well as those throughout New York. We provide in-patient hospice care at our Danbury facility as well as palliative and pediatric care to patients.

Our caregivers are committed to helping our Wingdale patients and their families manage sympathy, harmony, and respect required in their finals days.

Inpatient Hospice

Our Danbury facility is truly state-of-the-art and is equipped with not only private suites and accommodations for family members but also with gourmet meals for loved ones and their families as part of our in-patient hospice care and treatment.

Palliative Care

For those patients stricken with life-limiting and advanced illnesses, our dedicated team offers an interdisciplinary treatment option for all our Wingdale patients and the support needed to handle all their physical discomfort as well as their mental challenges.

Pediatric Care

In addition, we provide top of the line pediatric care for all of our Wingdale terminally ill child patients. We provide superior prenatal and pediatric hospice care and our professionals are steadfast in their commitment to helping families throughout their difficult journey.

We take tremendous pride in our top-rated, private suite hospice center located in Danbury, CT, often referred to as the Center for Comfort Care and Healing. Our staff and facility give focus to providing our Wingdale patients with all the comfort and care they need.

Our dedicated staff provides superior care and treatment 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.

A Doctor’s Referral is Not Necessary

There are no doctor’s referrals needed for individuals to request our hospice care. All patients are accepted and will be admitted under the care of one of our doctors. If necessary, however, referrals can be made right on our site.

Hospice is Affordable

Hospice care coverage for your loved ones is typically provided by the majority of private health insurance plans, as well as Medicare and Medicaid. This offers peace of mind needed to all our Wingdale families in need of specialized Hospice care for their loved ones.

Our highly reputable Chef Jonathan LeFebvre and his culinary team take a great deal of pride in providing gourmet meals for all of our patients and their families whenever requested. Chef LeFebvre is looked upon as a beloved family member by many of our patients and their families simply because of his dedication and compassion to end-of-life patients and their family members.

Perinatal & Pediatric Care

Our Pediatric and Perinatal Hospice Programs offer our Wingdale families with infants and children who have been diagnosed with terminal illnesses, physical, emotional and spiritual help. We are on hand to help families every step of the way from pregnancy, labor, and birth, to life and even misfortune and remembrance.

Our Pediatric and Perinatal Hospice care and treatment incorporates medicinal services with visits and continued support with perinatal consideration.
