Any person with a terminal illness, regardless of age, is eligible for our hospice care programs. Home Hospice Care comes to you, wherever you reside–your home, assisted living residence, or skilled nursing facility.

A distinguished nonprofit hospice provider since 1983, Regional Hospice walks alongside Woodbridge patients and their loved ones enabling those in our care to focus on what matters: living fully when facing life-limiting illness. Patients of all ages―from babies to adults―in private homes, assisted living and skilled nursing facilities in four Connecticut counties benefit from our services. Our Danbury Center for Comfort Care & Healing is the first residential hospice center of its kind in Connecticut, offering all the comforts and amenities of home to patients throughout greater Woodbridge.

Who We Are and Why We Serve Woodbridge?

Since 1983, Regional Hospice has provided care choices for terminal patients and their families during the sacred end-of-life transition. Our Center for Comfort Care & Healing is the first hospice residence of its kind in Connecticut and is available to anyone in the U.S. Woodbridge residents benefit from 24/7 clinical care in private suites with screened in balconies, wood furnishings and chef-prepared custom meals. The Center replicates the comforts of home, where loved ones can focus on quality time together.

Why Choose the Regional Hospice Center

We provide compassion and comfort for our Woodbridge patients inside our beautiful center or in the comfort of their own home. We extend our services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

A Doctor’s Referral is Not Necessary
Anyone may request hospice care. A Woodbridge patient may be referred by a hospital, clergy, family, friend or other home care agency and will be admitted under a physician’s direction. For your convenience, a referral can be made through our website.

Hospice is Affordable
Our Hospice Care is affordable for anyone who wishes to be referred. With high quality care, a lot of health insurances are covered by Medicare.
